This elegant late Victorian ring features an elongated turquoise glass cabochon surrounded by approximately 1.40 carats of old mine cut diamonds, graded J–L color and SI–I clarity. The diamonds are set in 14 karat gold, tested for purity, with an open gallery that allows light to enhance their warm brilliance. The turquoise shows light wear consistent with age.
Navette-shaped cluster rings such as this were highly fashionable during the 1880s and 1890s, prized for their elongated form and balanced proportions on the hand. The pairing of crisp old cuts with a smooth turquoise cabochon highlights the late Victorian jeweler’s skill in creating harmony through contrast: merging precision, color, and light in a form that remains timeless.
