Originally a Victorian era style, the brick link, comprised of offset rectangles that resembled masonry, made a comeback during the retro era of the 1940s. This necklace is the epitome of post war opulence and feminine elegance, circa 1945-1950, and fabricated in buttery and sleek 14 karat yellow gold and is smooth and comfortable on the neck; it measures 15 1/5 inches in length.
Three round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring approximately 0.15 carat each, for a total weight of 0.45 carat, are graded G-H color, SI clarity, and set in platinum. The ends of the necklace resemble the popular buckle motifs of the era and feature eight transitional cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately 0.45 carat, they are near colorless and SI clarity.
