This Italian charm, crafted in 18 karat gold, features a geometric double-cone form set with blue glass cabochons that mimic turquoise. Two of the cabochons show minor chipping consistent with age. It bears an Italian hallmark used between 1944 and 1971, along with a maker’s mark for Turri Attilio Gaetano.
Etruscan Revival motifs experienced a resurgence in mid-20th-century Italy, where jewelers reinterpreted ancient forms through bold, modern design. Charms of this kind were often sold as souvenirs in Venetian and Florentine workshops, prized for their rich color, sculptural symmetry, and evocation of classical craftsmanship.
The charm measures just under 1 inch wide and 3/4 inch long.
Please note that all pieces offered are genuine antique and vintage and have been left in their original, unaltered condition to preserve their historical integrity. While each item is carefully inspected prior to sale, signs of age and wear are to be expected and are embraced as part of the piece’s character. Antique jewelry should always be worn with care and consideration to ensure its longevity.
