A classic Victorian belcher ring set with an old European cut diamond weighing approximately 0.20 carats, H–I color and VS clarity. The stone is held in a traditional buttercup style setting, where the gold is shaped into soft, petal-like forms that cradle the diamond. Crafted in 18 karat gold and marked "18", circa 1890.
